Good luck ever closing an account with…

UPDATE: Less then 12 hours after this review I got a cancellation email. Was that so difficult? Shouldn’t take this to do the right thing.
Good luck ever closing an account with them. 5 times now I have tried to get them to close the account and they do nothing but keep charging my Credit Card.

Make it impossible to switch plans or cancel service... go elsewhere

Tried to reduce the amount of service lines when we had to cut back on staff size during the pandemic, and they told me that was only possible if I extend my plan. Tried to cancel multiple times, but they make it very difficult. Finally getting rid of Nextiva service today after wasting thousands of dollars due to their poor customer support, and couldn't be happier to get with a new provider.

Business number

I searched a lot on the internet and saw that Nextiva is a good service for business phone numbers. I got a free trial for the business phone number. Set up a website is not working, I was told there were fixing. Bad impression. It has been 3 days, I could not even use my business phone number. I talked support team, able to talk with customer service is a headache. Just wait, wait, wait. I am gonna cancel it for sure.

Getting and Setting up Nextiva800-number

The sales support when first exploring if Nextiva can meet our company needs were excellent - knowledgeable, prompt, professional. Then when setting it up, the Customer Support was equally good - knew the system inside-out and stayed on the phone until the setup was completed and tested.

Nextiva has been a fantastic VOIP…

Nextiva has been a fantastic VOIP provider for our office. We have been customers for 4 years and have been pleased! The customer service team is always helpful and easy to get in touch with via phone call or text. There are many helpful tutorials for the administrator and users. The online access to your account dashboard is very helpful.

Bad Service and Impossible to Get Out

Their VOIP only works half the time. The apps on the phone rely on bad cell service. Prepare to have a lot of dropped calls, anywhere between 2 to 4 callbacks.

Nextiva is the best most affordable…

Nextiva is the best most affordable service for my small business needs! The system is easy to navigate around and anytime I have a question-they are always available to assist! The referral program is outta this world! I have earned quite a bit of money just by telling others about this great service! Perfect for small business owners that want to simplfy things by using their existing cell phone line! I highly reccommend this service!

Excellent interaction.

We signed with Nextiva to replace an old PBX. I knew that there would be many more features which we didn't know that we needed.

There was a considerable learning curve, but Nextiva staff was most helpful and, not to sound like a cheerleader, it appears that we got the best rep as she was always available, highly articulate, knowledgeable in the system and responsive. She handled our specific programming requests and was relentless until it was correct and working to our satisfaction.

They have now released an updated version which we have yet to explore and I'm sure has very enhanced features.

At this early point in our relationship with Nextiva, they have done an excellent job with us.

We love the flexibility that Nextiva…

We love the flexibility that Nextiva provides. As small business owners, we don’t have a huge staff but want our customers to receive excellent customer service. Having the ability to work from any location is such a huge help because we are home builders so we’re “in the field” most of our day. We are so glad that our Comcast rep connected us with Nextiva service.

Is Nextiva a scam or a legit company?

Total scam! Run away from these guys... here's why: RUN, RUN, RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY---HERE'S WHY---> I own a healthcare clinic that since COVID STRONGLY relies on it's phone system to ensure we can care for our patients. This was made know to James Munday and he and his management agreed we'd get 30 days to sample the service to ensure it would be sufficient for healthcare. That's what they promised and here's what really happened. 1. They charged me for phone service when we did not have phone service set up with them. Yes. You read that right. We 100% had NO PHONE SERVICE set up with them. Nothing was set up in our clinic. Our numbers were not ported over yet they still charged us $479.40. 2. They were impossible to get in touch with, which is why we could not set up our phone system. Between my staff and myself we spent over 6 hours on the phone with nothing accomplished. 3. We had a 30 day out clause in our contract. We could not contact our rep to cancel as she was not available and as a result they are trying to charge us over $12,000 up front to cancel. 4. In a 30 day period they were not able to get our phone system set up, yet they still billed our credit card. Here's my impression of Nextiva "management"…let's give customers a great sales experience, tie them into a contact and then not be available to provide them with service. So we take their money and provide no service JUST LIKE CRIMINALS DO. In my opinion, this is a very dishonest company and I only hope that anyone who reads this heads my warning and run, run, run as far away from Nextiva as possible. You'd had better luck with carrier pigeons... LOL.

A:

Support is awful. Someone in an off-shore call center will answer the phone, but ability to deal with the simplest of requests is difficult, time-consuming and ineffective.
